Great to see a local community get together and achieve a very successful family fun event. Like Kilcavan last week the sun was shining and there were lots of tea and treats after the torture of the hill.
We had a few representatives on the day. Tom Lupton after getting caught up with the many children at the start finished strong with a win 1st in 17:56. Next up was Maria Cuddy 2nd lady in 21:32 a new PB. Maria was followed by 3rd lady Anna Duggan in 22:27 and Martina Delaney 25:55.
Our juveniles did superb also on what was a challenging start to a 5k. We had Jack, Tom and Kate Delaney, Emma Jane Cuddy and Doireann O'Connor. Of course we will have to mention Michael Delaney as our main supporter. Also his wife Ann who ran on her birthday. Well done to all.
