British & Irish Masters Cross Country Championships 2017 Gransha Park, Derry 18.11.17

Well done to Aengus Burke running a fine race to help the Irish O/50 team claim silver medal at the British & Irish Masters on Saturday.

Vicarstown Park Run 18.11.17

Well done to those who ran in the Vicarstown Parkrun on Saturday, Paul Cuddy was 1st home in a time of 18.48, Richie Reid hitting a PB in the same time of 18.48, Tom Lupton in 3rd place also with a PB time of 19.12 along with Joe Walsh 21.01, Sinead Curtis 29.00 and Nuala Arrigan 29.57.

Not to be outshone by our senior members, we had seven juveniles at the Vicarstown Junior Parkrun on Sunday with plenty of PB's in the mix. Caoimhe Cuddy was 1st Girl home with a PB time of 8:42, Aoife Cuddy 5th girl PB time of 9:56, Emma Jane 6th girl 10:03 also a PB, Tara Ring 7th girl 10:45 & Grace Cuddy 9th girl also with a PB of 11:59. Fionn Cuddy 5th boy in 8:38 & Ross Ring 20th in 11:44. Well done to you all fantastic running from all our Juveniles. Thanks to Maria Cuddy for the pictures.

Stook 10 mile Road Race, Gowran Kilkenny 18.11.17

Well done to Grace Reilly, Elaine Moore & Joe Breen who travelled to Gowran, Kilkenny for the challenging Stook 10 mile race. Grace was second woman home posting a time of 1hour 6mins, Joe 1hour 11mins and Elaine 1hour 40mins - great running guys.

The Gingerbread 10K and Half Marathon, Portarlington 19.11.2017

Finishing off a busy weekend for our athletes was the Gingerbread 10k & Half Marathon in Portarlington. In the 10k we had Sarah Conroy 59:12, Tracey Gavin 59:20, Martina Gardiner 59:52, Claire Dunne 1:03 & Suzanne Miley 1:16.
In the Half Marathon, we had Joe Breen fresh from Stook 10 mile race posting a time of 1:38, Lucy Dunne 1:49 & Trish Naughton 1:58. Well done all super running.
