Rock ‘n’ Roll Dublin 1/2 Marathon & 10k 13.08.2017

We had 12 athletes in total travel to Dublin for the National half marathon and 10K road races.  The weather was perfect for runners.  The Affidea Rock ‘n’ Roll race started on the Docklands and passes by the most famous attractions in Dublin city and finishes in the Phoenix Park Dublin where afterwards runners were entertained by a live band.

Congratulations to Aengus Buke on winning Bronze in his category in the Half Marathon.  Also to Anna Duggan who won silver in her category in the 10k. 

Our weekly competitors Niall Collins and Sinead Curtis both a great runs in the half marathon taking minutes off their previous times, along with Cathy Mulhare , Margaret Mary Grant, Suzanne Miley, and Sarah Conroy . 

Martina Delaney, Catherine Ryan, Claire Dunne and Martina Gardiner all ran the 10k also.

Junior Park run 13.08.2017

Grace Meade was first of the girls to finish this week.  Well done Grace.  Along with Grace we had Tara Ring with a new PB and her brother Ross also running a PB.  Well done guys great running.
