Laois Community Games

Well done to all our athletes who competed in the Laois Community games finals held in St Abbans complex recently. Grace Meade 1st in the U/12 600m. Eleanor Healy 1st in the girls U/14 shot. Jack Delaney 2nd in the U/16 high jump. William Conroy 2nd in the U/16 1500m. Oliver McCauley 2nd in the U/10 100m. Tom McCauley 2nd in the U/8 80m. All will now go on to represent Laois in the All Ireland community games later in the year.

Vicarstown Park Run

Trevor McCormack was our first male home this week coming home in 3rd place, Trevor was closely followed by Patrick Marshall (4th), Joe Breen (6th), David Faulkner (1st Junior).

In the ladies race Lucy Dunne was 2nd female home, Lucy was followed by Charlie Walsh (First Junior), Martina Gardiner (8th), Rebecca Marshall (First U/14), Catriona Marshall (9th).

Kilberry NS 10K Road Race

Well done to Olwyn Larkin who was 2nd in her category and 4th Lady overall in this tough 10K race. Great running by Olwyn.

Little South Run 4M RR

Tony Reilly made the trip down to Kilmacow and ran a great race to come home in 3rd place overall, Great running by Tony who is getting into great form.
