Great numbers out once again this week from Portlaoise AC

Well done to Seodhna Hoey who won not just one but three medals recently at the County Championship.
Richie Reid was 2nd in Spink 5k in 16:40. Grace Reilly 1st lady in 18:25. This was 3rd of the Ballyroan Abbeyleix Series and 3rd time for Grace Reilly taking 1st place.
We had lots of athletes competing in various events this week.
The day began with Juvenile races u9 to u15 nicely set up in McCann Park Playing Field.
Our only two juvenile athletes today were Caoimhe and Emma Jane Cuddy who both ran very well finishing 3rd and 5th respectively in the U/11 500m race.
